The story
Aging in place was a priority for this customer and she wanted a new zero entry shower that would allow a wheelchair if needed and a place to sit. She also did not want to get wet and cold turning the shower on, so we installed the thermostatic valve by the entrance. A single glass pane kept things simple with no doors to open or close. We kept the current floor tile in place at her request and also replaced the vanity and countertop. This entire upgrade happened because her mirror cracked and one thing led to another!
Services performed
- Lowered subfloor to allow zero entry tiled floor.
- Shower valve located at shower entry.
- Handheld installed by bench for easy reach.
- Single pane glass panel for ease of access into shower.
- New vanity and top installed.
