When it comes to custom painting your home, there are many decisions to be made and we're here to help with all of them. Whether for the Interior or Exterior, it is always essential to select the right paint finish to achieve the desired look and functionality, these are matte, satin, gloss, semi-high gloss, high-gloss. Each has it's own characteristics and benefits which is why we always recommend testing sample areas to ensure the color and finish before committing to a full custom paint job, it is the extra little step that can save ton's of time and money.  Confused?  Not to worry.

Latex (Water-Based) Paint

INTERIOR Benefits:  Easy to clean up with water, dries quickly, low odor, and is more environmentally friendly.  It's the most popular choice for interior walls.

Finishes: matte, eggshell, satin, semi-gloss, and high-gloss

EXTERIOR Benefits:  Durable and flexible, resists cracking and fading, and is easy to clean.  It's the most popular choice for exterior walls.

Oil-Based Paint

INTERIOR Benefits:  Durable and provides a smooth, high-gloss finish.  It's suitable for high-traffic areas and wood surfaces.

Finishes: gloss, semi-gloss, and satin

EXTERIOR Benefits:  Extremely durable, provides a protective, high-gloss finish, and is suitable for high-traffic areas.

Acrylic Paint

INTERIOR Benefits:  A water-based paint with excellent durability and adhesion.  It's often used for high-moisture areas like bathrooms and kitchens.

Finishes: matte, eggshell, satin, and semi-gloss

EXTERIOR Benefits:  Water-based, durable, and resistant to fading.  It's a good choice for wood, stucco, and other exterior surfaces.

Elastomeric Paint

EXTERIOR Benefits:  Highly flexible and waterproof, it's ideal for masonry and concrete surfaces.  It can bridge small cracks and is suitable for applications with extreme weather conditions.

Eco-Friendly (Low-VOC) Paint

INTERIOR Benefits:  Contains fewer volatile organic compounds (VOC's), making it safer for your health and the environment.

EXTERIOR Benefits:  Like their interior counterparts, low-VOC paints are available for exteriors, offering a more environmentally friendly option.

Textured Paint

Benefits: Adds depth and texture to your walls, hiding imperfections, works well for popcorn ceilings

Ceiling Paint

Benefits: This paint is designed specifically for ceilings, these paints are often formulated to minimize drips and spatters.
